Folk Art Landscapes

2nd graders are using design elements of pattern, line and shape to create a Folk Art Landscape. They also drew rolling hills and painted with bright colors to add even more color!

Kinder Eggs

After watching Rechenka's Eggs the class decided to make their own eggs by creating designs using lines and shapes.

It's Mask Time

Our fourth graders have been hard at work creating masks of their own. We used plastic molds in the shape of a face and plaster gauze. After we covered the mask twice with wet gauze we were finished with construction, making sure we covered all the holes. After they were completely dry, which took a few days, we popped the mask off the mold and got to work painting. After all painting was done we added collage materials.
