Clay Fish

Anything you can do we can do with AIR DRY CLAY!! This is a big one for me, I hate air dry clay, but I want my kids to have the clay experience soooooo, I give in and let them have clay!! I made fish templates and let them trace into their clay with toothpicks. Then they added texture to the clay. We left it for several weeks to dry because Texas weather is so humid. After fully dried we use acrylic craft paint to add all the color. I will go back and seal these with acrylic spray so it can be shiny. Love them. We also watch the Rainbow Fish storyline online! My First Graders love it!!
